The Michigan site of the Midwest AIDS
Training and Education Center (MATEC) is located at Wayne State
University, School of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases.
Our goal is to increase the number of health care professionals who
provide quality HIV care to underserved and vulnerable populations.
We offer programs on the latest scientific knowledge on
caring for persons with HIV/AIDS. Programs range in length from 1
hour (didactic presentations) to 3 days (clinical
training).
